Music from Paradiddle Studio:
Here what some of our musicians have to say:
"I have worked on several projects at Paradiddle Records, the most recent being our CD, "Happy as Clams", interactive childrens' songs by my wife Lena. The atmosphere is professional, relaxing, and very conducive to creativity. Bill has a great balance of letting artists do their thing, giving great advice (he is an accomplished musician as well), and engineering a great sound. I thoroughly enjoy working with Bill...we spent 8 months together recording, editing, and producing "Happy as Clams" and I look forward to future projects with him... that says a lot!" - Brian Smith Happy As Clams
"I have had the pleasure of working with Bill Herman on two of my major releases. His facility is top notch and provides a great atmosphere. Bill's engineering expertise and production sense are an invaluable asset in the recording process. Working with Bill Herman is an excellent artistic choice for any musician or band that is serious about getting a great sound."- Chris P Cauley, Chris P Cauley Collective
"Bill Herman is professional and easy to work with. He knows how to support the artist's vision for their record. He's quick with Pro Tools, and as a drummer, I like working with an engineer who's also a drummer." - Katie Pearlman, Katie Pearlman Band
"I've been to Bill Herman's studio numerous times over the last year working on various projects. I've always found the experience very easy-going and PRODUCTIVE. Bill always was able to get the sounds the artist wanted without fail and is incredibly easy to work with. I would recommend Bill Herman for ANY recording project."- Chris James, The Hideaways
"A few months ago, I searched the internet for a local studio where I could record a CD of original music. I had no way of knowing, then, that choosing Paradiddle Studios from all of the search results that came up would be the absolute perfect choice it turned out to be. The comfortable and welcoming studio environment, matched with Chief Engineer Bill Herman's recording expertise, highly professional focus and personal attention to detail and quality of sound has made each of the almost 20 recording sessions I've booked to date, both productive and enjoyable. Bill has also been a limitless and invaluable resource for session musicians needed to add varied instrument and supporting vocal tracks to my music. The affordable rate is just icing on the cake. As I've met more of the staff, family and friends of the studio's recording and live sound operations over time, I've become even more impressed with the extensive and generous contributions they've made of their time and resources for the benefit and support of several important charitable organizations and local arts and entertainment communities and councils. Thank you, Paradiddle Studios. This is the right place to be."- Bill Scorzari, 11/8/11

REcording @ Paradiddle
Love recording @ Paradiddle! It's a unique place, and its personality comes through the decor: music history, vintage photo, paradiddle memorabilia, family affection. Bill Herman is spot on with suggestions and an engineering wizard. I get a genuine sense that I'm part of something bigger -- MUSIC! Thanks!
Recording at Paradiddle
When my son wanted to record his songs professionally, we researched a number of studios on Long Island, one of which was Paradiddle. Upon meeting Bill Herman, his interest in the project and friendly but professional demaeanor made the decision an easy one. Once they started, the atmosphere was excellent to get work done at a productive pace, with Bill providing valuable advice while respecting the artist's vision. I'm happy to say that as a result, under the artist name of Fake Frank, my son has just released a 6 song EP on iTunes:
Bill's professionalism and guidance made it possible. We look forward to recording Fake Frank's next release at Paradiddle Studios. thanks, Bill!
